It reveals the mystery behind a small group of innovative American women who helped shape the nation’s social and cultural landscape.

"Systemic Change" can be defined many ways. It is working for social and economic change tackling poverty and exclusion. The many forms of systemic change lobbying to our legislatures, promoting active citizenship, raising awareness and the reality of poverty, and networking.
The National Vincentian Family Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 24, locations around the country via the Internet and from where the Vincentian Family can gather together for input and discussion.

On November 1, over 300 teens and adults convened at a Chapel on Mary’s Mountain located at the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, to embark on a pilgrimage, that would end at the Basilica of the National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton.
- 11.19.2009: Mother Seton Academy Dedication
The “new” Mother Seton Academy had its dedication ceremony on October 24, 2009, to celebrate the blessings that have led this Nativity model school from its 15 year home on South Ann Street to a newly renovated, state-of-the-art facility at 2215 Greenmount Avenue, also in Baltimore City. Over three hundred people gathered as Bishop Denis Madden (urban vicar of Baltimore) walked through the building bestowing a blessing upon this new school. Mother Seton Academy is sponsored by the Daughters of Charity, along with five other religious congregations. A slideshow from the event can be view at www.mothersetonacademy.org.
