Elizabeth Ann Seton was originally buried in the Sisters of Charity cemetery at Emmitsburg and re-interred in the mortuary chapel in 1846. Prior to Beatification, her remains were placed over the main altar at St. Joseph College chapel. In 1968, her sacred remains were moved to St. Joseph's Provincial House chapel, now known as the Basilica of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton. Find out more...
